* Información disponible sólo en inglés

Art in all its various forms has always effectively captured the most authentic expressions and experiences of human life, the realities of Trafficking in Persons being no exception. IOM Jamaica has launched a visual and performing arts competition titled ‘Artworks for Freedom: Stop Human Trafficking Art Competition,’ under the Multi Country Border Security project (MCBSP) which is being implemented in Jamaica, Haiti and the Dominica Republic, with funding from the European Union. This competition will be in effect from 30 June – 30 September 2021 and is intended to raise awareness on trafficking in persons in Jamaica, by providing a platform for youth between the ages of 6 -25 years old to showcase their talents in the form of dance, drama, traditional folk form music, speech, drawings and paintings.
